Call for Speakers

Are you a passionate historian, industry expert or research professional willing to share your experiences, insights and knowledge with colleagues, peers, experienced researchers, and novice family historians?

The Genealogical Society of Queensland on behalf of the Australasian Federation of Family History Organisations and History Queensland, is now inviting proposals for educational sessions at the Australasian Conference 2025, “Connections – Past - Present – Future”, which will be held in Brisbane from 21 to 24 March 2025.

In combining the 17th Australasian Conference on Genealogy and Heraldry and the 5th History Queensland State Conference, we are looking for dynamic speakers and important topics to complement the presentations by our Keynote Speakers and provide the best possible experience for attendees.

This is a great opportunity for you to share your knowledge and insights with beginners, intermediate and advanced-level attendees.

Attendees today are looking for more out of their conference education experience—hands-on learning, interaction with the presenter, case studies, real-world examples, and opportunities to delve deeper into topics. We strongly encourage you to consider new ways to incorporate these types of interactions while you are developing your presentation proposal. Be sure to indicate in your submission how you intend to deliver this interactive type of learning environment.

Please complete the form below if you wish to be part of this exciting Conference in 2025
